Meet Tyler Guarino.
Tyler’s job is pretty simple. He turns lawn green and builds patios, walls and walkways with local materials.
But why landscaping?
His mom would tell you it’s because he has always loved playing in dirt. And she’s probably right (mom’s know best).
But when I asked Ty. He said it’s because he loves being outside. And he knows people will spend more quality time together outside if they have a space that encourages it.
Tyler grew up in Litchfield and worked for a few local companies over the years so you might recognize his face.
If you haven't met him, I'm willing to bet you know someone just like him.
If you know a guy that:
You know Ty. He’s a simple man who’s always willing to lend a helping hand.
After working for two landscapers in Litchfield, he decided to start his own company Guarino Landscaping.
He chose Guarino Landscaping because he takes pride in what he does. And stamps his name on his work to prove it.
Tyler specializes in lawn maintenance, hydro-seeding, patios, walls and walkways, and even land-leveling and excavation.
This past fall he did a thorough yard cleanup at my house. Once he was done, he saw my older neighbor Leo outside raking leaves in his yard. He went over and sucked up all his leaves too. Free of charge.
Well, not completely free. I saw Linda (Leo's wife) give him a loving cheek pinch in appreciation.
Obviously he can’t accept cheek pinch payments from everyone, but the act shows the type of guy that Ty is.
Landscaping isn’t rocket science. It’s all about attention to detail and quality materials. That's why Ty gets all of his materials from local companies and does all the work himself.
Next time you’re looking for a landscaper, I hope you think of Leo and Linda’s new favorite landscaping company - Guarino Landscaping.
